Job Description:

As a Quality Supervisor you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of receiving inspectors apart of a bargaining unit. The ideal candidate will be able to advise on daily tasks, priorities, and guide the team through problem resolution.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and implement cross training, examining opportunities for process improvement that support meeting daily priorities.

  • Manages quarterly financial accountability for the team and ensures daily accuracy of various program charging.

  • Ensures timely completion of employee time keeping, training, employee evaluations, and performance management.

  • Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing quality standards.

  • Provides constructive feedback to team.

  • Works crossfunctionally with other leaders to troubleshoot concerns and implement strategies to ensure continuation of daily work.

  • May work extended hours to cover employee gaps as needed.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a role centered on quality improvement or quality management.

  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience or knowledge of TIPQA, Cost Point or similar programs.

  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience working with Union Employees and Union Contracts.

  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience managing 5 or more employees.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Potential physical ability to lift 25 lbs.

  • Ability to stand or sit for a few hours at a time.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Prior experience managing a bargaining unit.

  • Leadership certification or prior training.

  • Proficient in MS Office and database management.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral.

  • Prior account management background.
