Honeywell Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer in Mason, Ohio

Use your knowledge of electrical engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

As a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer, you will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products by designing, testing and/or validating products/ processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Electrical Engineers to manage design, execute, and commissioning of Electrical Engineering scope of material handling projects and programs.

  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve project execution risks.

  • Interface with all project stakeholders to develop high-quality designs that meet customer needs.

  • Work with project team to manage program deliverables, tasks, schedules, and financials.

  • Prioritize tasks based on schedule requirements.

  • Constantly interface with managers to provide Electrical Engineering program metrics.

  • Steer execution team in right direction to meet department goals.

Help enforce department processes onto projects.

  • Enforce and verify design rules during internal and customer facing design reviews.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

  • 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.

  • Demonstrable ability and willingness to manage program execution of Electrical Engineering projects.

We Value

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.

  • Ability to timely escalate issues and roadblocks to engineering management.

  • Ability to adapt and mold execution strategy as per project needs and changing priorities.

  • Willingness and ability to travel 20%.

  • Strong background in training and mentoring junior engineers.

  • 12 + years of hands-on material handling industry experience.
