This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively maintaining an ongoing relationship with customers and grain origination staff. Will have daily exposure to customers in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for managing many aspects of customer accounts. Representatives will have exposure to grain ticket entry and processing, producer settlements, records management, and accounts payable processing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process grain settlements

  • Work in a fast paced, open office, grain purchase environment

  • Flexible and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Research problems, analyze results and organize tasks

  • Electronically maintain customer files- scanning documents, uploading information with Salesforce

  • Partner with Origination Team to maintain excellent customer relationships with producers

  • Develop excellent working relationships with Origination and Cotton Team

  • Interact with customers regarding orders and documentation needs

  • Follow through on logistics for shipments from origin to destination

  • Enter and manage sales/purchase contracts

  • Process invoices and monitor accounts receivable

  • Researching and obtain resolutions of customer issues

  • Effectively manage positive relationships with ADM facilities, Transportation Teams, Shared Service, and Technical Teams.

  • Proactively learn and cross train on all CSR responsibilities

  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask is crucial to being successful in this job. Must adapt and perform consistently in a fast-paced environment

  • A service-oriented focus on both external customers, internal customers, sales and business management colleagues

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to be utilized daily

  • High regard for accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to collaborate well in a team-oriented environment. Must be committed to group goals and objective and continually seek to improve

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Must be efficient problem solver

  • Must be able to make moderately complex decisions which impact all aspects of the business

  • Must have a friendly and positive disposition

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook required

  • Ability to learn web based and other computer applications as needed

  • Actively grow their knowledge of their customers business and market conditions

  • Receive direction from others and perform independently while managing priorities

  • Ability to adapt and perform consistently in a fast pace environment

  • Proficiency in clerical skills including keyboarding, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing and photo copying

  • 2 year Associate's Degree or 4 years office &/or CSR experience equivalency

  • AGRIS and Salesforce competency a plus
