Insight Global Accounting Manager in Marrero, Louisiana

Job Description

Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements, including income

statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP.

Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements,

and intercompany transactions.

Monitor and review the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy,

completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and

regulations.

Manage banking relationships and bank accounts and oversee monthly bank

reconciliation process.

Oversee revenue recognition and revenue accounting including analyzing

application of ASC 606

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation required.

A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting or public

accounting.

Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Public

Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and financial reporting

requirements for publicly traded companies.

Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Sage X3 experience is a plus, however, not required.

Experience with supervising team members.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Proven experience in conducting financial analysis and interpreting complex

financial data.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate

with cross-functional stakeholders.

Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet

deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present

financial information in a clear and concise manner.
