Work Schedule:

Position works a variable schedule that is dependent upon the event/athletic schedule; including variable shifts and days off with regular evening and weekend shifts, and the potential for holiday shifts. The position requires the ability to be on-call.

Salary:

Targeted salary range: $50,400-$54,200

Brief Statement of Duties

Brief Statement of Duties:

Manage all aspects of the food/beverage/alcohol concession operations in the Superior Dome, PEIF and Berry Event Center. Plan, order, receive, schedule, assign and assist in the production and service of menu items and other responsibilities. Oversee the training and supervision of assigned staff to ensure efficient and high quality service standards. Responsible for the fiscal and operational success of the food and beverage operations within concessions for NMU Dining Service.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education:

Associate's Degree

Discipline / Degree Area:

Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related field

Required Specialized Training/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related field with three years' experience in the food service industry or an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related field with five years' experience in the food service industry.

Required Minimum Work Experience:

Two years' work experience in purchasing, inventory control, cost control and financial management. Two years' experience in a leadership/supervisory role. Two years' experience with fo
