Safety Manager

Duties:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Provide safety training and education programs for employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
  • Maintain safety records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with management and department heads to develop and implement safety initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Experience conducting safety inspections and audits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively train employees on safety procedures
  • Proficient in the use of CCTV systems for loss prevention purposes
