Custom Staffing Trailer Mechanic in Marion, Ohio
*Trailer Mechanic Needed * Custom Staffing is looking for a full-time Trailer Mechanic at our Marion, Ohio plant location. The Trailer Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and general repairs on trailer units.

*Essential Duties: *
- Help diagnose and trouble shoot issues while effectively communicating with supervisor, teammates and drivers.
- Responsible for preparing and turning in paperwork and working with Inventory Clerk.
- Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trailers, including preventative maintenance, inspections, air and hydraulic brakes, tires, warranty issues, driveline, steering, suspension and electrical. Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs to Company and DOT standards.
- Diagnose and repair trailer components such as doors, floors and side panels.
- Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with team members and vendors.
*Requirements/Qualifications: *
- Ability to work in all weather conditions; indoors and outdoors.
- Must be able to lift/move 20-100 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
- Good communication skills and reliable attendance is expected
- High school or post-secondary training in automotive repair
- On occasion able to work overtime as needed
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
