Marion company in need of Industrial Maintenance Technicians - 1st shift M-F - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Sat - 8:30 am - 12 pm Summary: Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine mechanical duties and preventive maintenance duties. Welding and fabricating of various parts for equipment. Perform lock out and tag out on all equipment. Troubleshoot all electrical and identify electrical hazards Enter all work orders and communicate with other managers within their facilities. Work with outside contractors in a timely manner to complete projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform all maintenance tasks on equipment in a safe and timely manner as well as coordinate with manager parts, time frames, workload and over all projected equipment failures. Repair hydraulics, Change Hydraulic hoses, Hydraulic cylinders, Trouble shoot Hydraulics, change filters, change pins and chains. Repair broken, cracked or fatigued equipment, Megger electric motors, Change out electrical contractors and motors. Able to identify bad motors, bearings and gearsets. Change belts, drive sprockets, gears, and conveyor parts to include rollers, guides, carrier belts. Perform all DC voltage work on cranes to ensure magnet systems are working properly for production.
