Job description
JOB DETAILS
*Base Pay Rate: $17-$21 per hour *
*1st Shift *
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The crane operator is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
- Fill out Crane Checklist
- Load and unload trucks
- Crane vinyl bins from Extrusion into Crane Area
- Pull all empty bins off saw row and replace with new bin
- Supply Extrusion packers with empty bins
- Supply Foam Table with material
- Load Saw lines
- Pull tags and turn tags in at the end of shift
- Fill out Crane Cleaning checklist daily at end of shift
- Operate tow motor when required
- Organize material and use FIFO methods
- Scan Inventory
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Preferably with experience in crane operation
- Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
