Summary: Responsible for providing clerical support such as preparing title commitments and policies, correspondence, writing routine letters and memos, receiving and directing visitors, arranging meetings and maintaining departmental records and files. Function as primary telephone operator where required.

Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare title commitments and policies.
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing or routine work.
- Ensure reception area is neat and orderly and that forms or other display items are stocked and well maintained.
- Forward telephone calls to specific individuals and record messages when the individuals are not present.
- Assist customers and direct them to the proper individual when unable to assist them. Distribute mail and may answer general questions relating to services or arrange appointments as necessary.

Education/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous office experience with some secretarial skills preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, co-workers or vendors.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Must have the ability to maintain a friendly, helpful and courteous attitude when working with customers or co-workers under diverse conditions.
- Must have the ability to accurately and quickly complete standard mathematical calculations.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to use a calculator, computer and applicable software.
