What will you be doing in this role?

  • Provides indirect care in the Telemetry/Med-Surg department setting.

  • Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac screen or telemetry monitors.

  • Meets the communication needs of the department.

  • Maintains logbooks and patient information for ADT tracking.

  • Assists at the unit station as assigned. Prepares and compiles records in the department

Hours : 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Weekends and holidays varied.

  • Successful completion of a dysrhythmia recognition course (required)

  • Current BCLS (required)

  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing(required).

  • Basic computer knowledge (required).

  • One (1) year of Monitor Tech experience (preferred).
