Lockheed Martin QUALITY INSPECTION SUPERVISOR in Marietta, Georgia

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

This is a 1st shift Quality Supervision position supporting Marietta Fabrication and Shipping/Receiving, DEMIL/MRBI Core Quality inspection personnel. Responsible for product quality and the continual assessment of manufacturing processes, continual process improvement, and inspector, quality staff performance. The candidate will help identify preventive actions that will assess performance and drive actions in order to control sources of variation that within product quality, cost, and schedule targets. Strong communication skills are required in order to support steady collaboration and integration with varying functions, leaders, and engineering disciplines in order to achieve program success.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications:

- Prior fabrication/aircraft Quality Assurance experience.

- Experience and knowledge of AS9100.

- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.

- Professional experience with the following: Quality

processes with Aircraft Assembly/fabrication, Safety,

Training, FOD & Tool control procedures.

Desired Skills:

Experience interacting with DCMA Customers.

Supervision experience with hourly workforce.

Experience in a Fabrication and Special Process environment.

Experience with Shipping and Receiving operations.

Experience with Demilitarization and MRBI Scrap operations.

RCA/Corrective Action process improvement experience

Ability to effectively and successfully interact with internal and external customers and government agencies.

3-year previous leadership experience in a Aeronautics manufacturing environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills needed to ensure collaboration.

Effective oral and written communication abilities.

Technical and business acumen.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
