Join our Program Production Control team in Marietta, GA, where we drive seamless integration across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to ensure optimal production outcomes. As a Production Control Business Unit Integrator, you’ll play a vital role in Make, Buy, and Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions, keeping our production running smoothly and meeting customer demands.
What You Will Be Doing
• MRP and Production Planning: Perform Make, Buy, and BOM planning activities using MRP transactions to maintain production system integrity and support inventory optimization.
• Manufacturing Coordination: Oversee multiple manufacturing activities, ensuring smooth material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements while minimizing cost.
• Shop Floor Control and Scheduling: Coordinate with Manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzing production schedules and capacity to meet requirements and expedite as needed.
• Supply Chain Collaboration: Work with Procurement and Operations Management to create a time-phased plan for procured parts, ensuring deliverables align with the production schedule.
• BOM and Engineering Updates: Maintain MRP parameters, such as lead times and lot sizes, and coordinate with Engineering and Change Board Representatives for updates to the BOM as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in MRP/ERP Systems: Familiarity with MRP systems, production scheduling, or supply chain management.
• Manufacturing/Supply Chain Knowledge: Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain role, with understanding of inventory optimization and shop floor control.
• Effective Communication Skills: Experience communicating across departments, including with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams.
Desired Skills:
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement: Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis and MRP parameter maintenance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Skilled in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze, communicate, and document production control data and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Production Control, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
