Primary Purpose of this Job
We are currently hiring a Facilities Manager for our Margate, FL. location. At this location we do 3D metal additive manufacturing. This position will report into our plant manager. This is a day shift position and typically works Monday Friday but at times needed at night or weekends. The Facilities and CI Manager coordinates and leads a wide range of complex Continuous Improvement activities that are designed to remove waste and improve safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This manager also writes and conducts preventative and long-term maintenance plans for 3D printers, chillers, quality, and post processing equipment. Achieving success will require using various problem-solving techniques, hands on experience, leveraging your mechanical aptitude, on unique additive metal printing processes. Relentless energy and perseverance will be necessary to influence change and contribute toward improving manufacturing efficiencies.
To be successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly grasp ATIs processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams that include all ATI employees. This position work in a fast-paced start up mentality environment with diverse personalities. Strong oral and written skills will be necessary to transition your work into a standardized repeatable process or solution.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)
Assist in the implementation of operational excellence and quality control initiatives.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance on all facility maintenance activities including oversight of PM and machine repair activities. Assure that all plant equipment, facilities and utilities are optimally maintained for continuous, reliable and uninterrupted operation; When necessary, directly support equipment repair activities by calling in appropriate resources andexpediting needed parts. Drive an operational excellence action that engrains discipline and execution within and across the Facility operations that results in low machine downtime, high operational uptime, and consistent operation of all facility systems.
Work across the quality, 3D printing, and post processing functions to define and implement process improvements that impact our P&L and delight customers.
Support task standardization efforts and help maintain documentation for standardized work.
Participate in 5S activities to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Develop and implement quality/productivity/cost reduction projects
Measure parts using CMM, laser scanning, and blue light tools to aid in the completion of op ex initiatives and/or customer projects.
Be a champion in driving completion of operational projects that dont have a clear path, owner, or instructions.
Aid in conducting Root Cause Analyses to identify and resolve process inefficiencies and issues.
Provide necessary support and assist in assuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100, additive standards, and customer quality procedures and requirements
Support innovation initiatives to drive operational improvements and enhance productivity.
Leverage your practical hands-on abilities to drive efficiencies and customer projects to completion.
Partner with and help to develop teams to improve overall Op Ex competency.
Be a "leader of change". Teach and coach change management to promote individual change readiness.
Implement and support auditing of operations and processes for adherence to standards.
Promote culture change, employee engagement, and empowerment in the workforce.
