For our Plasma Product Development – PABS department we are looking for a

Scientist - Bioanalytical Sciences (m/f/x) - R-135373

(Fulltime / permanent)

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Development of experimental study designs in agreement with supervisor

  • Planning and performing experimental work including data analysis and communicating results to manager or project team in form of a report or a presentation

  • Provision of scientific and analytical expertise for root-cause analysis or processing of production deviations

  • Planning, evaluation, establishment and development of innovative bioanalytical methods and instruments

  • Operation of complex devices, program scripting and processing/ preparation of raw data

  • Professional, flexible collaboration in cross-departmental agile project teams, locally and globally

  • Coordination of research projects as project scientific coordinator

  • Contact person as expert for certain analytical technologies, processes and devices

  • Creation and maintenance of records within internal digital documentation systems

  • Contributions at congresses and creation of publication drafts

  • Supporting the creation of written contributions to regulatory documents

  • Creation and revision of technical documents, including standard operating procedures, test- or process protocols and reports (possibly relevant for submission)

  • Supporting the procurement of new devices and systems

  • Maintenance of laboratory equipment and procedures according to specific quality standards

  • Planning and execution of equipment qualifications

  • Coordinating the availability of materials, solutions and reagents

  • Contacting and gathering information of external suppliers and collaboration partners

Experience in the following areas is an advantage:

  • Sound scientific and practical knowledge in the fields of coagulation, immunology or protein biochemistry with a focus on analytics

  • Hands-on experience with analytical procedures like spectroscopy, mass spectrometry or particle analysis

  • Statistical data analysis using corresponding software, e.g. JMP

  • Experience in project work and regular presentations of results

  • Knowledge about quality in pharma, e.g. method qualification or validation

  • Expertise with digital documentation systems, e.g electronic lab notebook (ELN), document management systems (docNet)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A University Degree in a relevant field of Science (e.g. Bachelor of Science in biochemistry/biology or comparable)

  • Project experience and knowledge of relevant analytical methods

  • English Level 2

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience
