Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a laboratory technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Lead technician responsible for performing lab scale reactions on two types of acrylate polymerizations. This is for both new products and/or for the re-qualification of existing products.Implements existing test methods to perform analysis on both solution and coated film properties.Determines sample properties and whether the performance is correct and accurate. Record and report those results back to the product developer/chemist.Supports product developers by actively engaging in communication related to testing and results, equipment issues, and workload progress.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher in a science related disciplineORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (7) years of (the same job-related experience)ANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Experience with PSAs (pressure sensitive adhesives) either in chemical synthesis or physical property testingAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material ScienceChemical synthesis experiencePolymer synthesis experienceChemical characterization experienceWork location: Choose 1:Onsite, Maplewood MNTravel: May include up to 10% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
