Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs a Global Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for customers which offer significant growth opportunities globally and will benefit from being part of the key account program. The objective will be to gather customer insights and to create and implement account-based, technical, and marketing strategies within Solventum's Biopharma Separations Business. The Biopharma Separations Business is committed to providing customers with Biopharma filtration solutions, to meet critical applications in the Upstream and Downstream Bioprocessing. This position will report directly to the Global Key Account Leader.Here, you will make an impact by:Execute the global key account program for global key accounts, performing account assessment, and implementing strategic plan with local teams for these accounts.Developing and managing customer relationships at a defined set of global key accountsDeveloping and lead the execution of customer strategic account plans.Leveraging insight supplied by NPI and product marketing teams to drive expanded customer engagements, product trials and sales results.Managing to a pre-defined action plan that includes multi-year growth targets while being sufficiently agile to adapt to changes in plans as conditions require.Working with a cross functional team to serve as a strategic sales leader arranging account engagements, driving deep technical customer insights, and developing globally harmonized pricing and supply agreements.Mapping customer buying journey and developing strategic global sales plan to achieve and exceed growth targets.Working with area sales, technical and marketing teams to ensure a globally harmonized superior customer buying experience as well as with supply chain team to manage supply and service targets at designated accounts.Company VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Bioprocess or related discipline.Seven (7) year's work experience in the b opharma separations space of recombinant protein, vaccine, or cell and gene therapy segments.Two (2) years' experience in upstream and downstream bioprocess design, especially in harvest clarification, from testing, process development, data analysis through implementation and transfer.Published work in the bioprocessing field; including public presentations of work as thought leader in bioprocess forums including harvest, clarification, or chromatography conferences.Current, valid Driver's License.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or higher from an accredited university.Experience in account-based marketing and selling to customers in recombinant protein, vaccine, and cell and gene therapy market segments.Experience working with, influencing, and leading global and cross functionally matrixed teams.Demonstrable experience in building technical strategies and driving engagement at large global biopharma accounts.Exemplary time management and project management skills.Excellent communication/problem-solving skills.
