Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleAs aGlobal Food Contact Materials Compliance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Develop and lead global product stewardship, life cycle management, and regulatory compliance strategic objectives for the Purification and Filtration (P&F) Business to support new product commercialization, existing product portfolio growth and customer needs.Regularly communicate business product stewardship and compliance performance, strategic objectives and new and emerging regulations, trends, metrics and requirements to business management.Oversee customer-facing regulatory/quality document requests and questionnaires.Maintain documentation and records for corporate regulatory compliance.Act as the subject matter expert (or) Lead for global food contact materials compliance of new and existing food contact substances utilized in Solventum's Purification and Filtration Products.Strategize and help implement global food contact material compliance for products made by several Purification and Filtration Business Units. Support the Drinking Water Business products where food contact materials compliance is desired.Serve as the Liaison with contracted testing labs and 3rd party compliance law firm(s).Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or higher AND (7) years of combined experience in product regulatory compliance or product stewardship with an emphasis on USA, EU, and global food contact materials regulations and compliance.ORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND (14) years of combined experience in product regulatory compliance or product stewardship with an emphasis on USA, EU, and global food contact materials regulations and compliance.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Technical degree, e.g., Bachelor's degree or higher in Toxicology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a Science or Medical related discipline from an accredited institution.Five (5) years of experience working in a filtration products manufacturing industry in a regulatory, research, quality or manufacturing role.Five (5) years of experience working wit 3rd party compliance law firms and/or accredited materials testing labs.Global product regulatory and certification compliance experience in one or more of the following areas: chemical control laws, consumer product regulations, drinking water contact regulations and certifications, Global food contact material regulations.Strong communication, project management and leadership skills working with global and cross-functional teams.For current employees, internal transfer restrictions may not apply.
