Robert Half Treasury Analyst in Manorville, New York
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting and banking processes. This position is based in Manorville, New York, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission within the non-profit sector.
Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate data entry tasks related to the general ledger and journal entries.
• Manage banking operations, including account reconciliations and transaction processing.
• Utilize NetSuite and other banking platforms to monitor and maintain financial records.
• Prepare and analyze reports on cash flow and capital management.
• Support automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and ensure compliance with banking protocols.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Oversee cash activity and provide insights for better financial decision-making.
• Assist with the implementation and use of accounting and banking software systems.
• Ensure all financial data is processed and recorded in alignment with organizational policies.
• Conduct periodic reviews of banking processes to identify areas for improvement. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as NetSuite and Concur.
• Experience working with banking software and online banking platforms.
• Familiarity with financial tools such as Bloomberg Terminal.
• Strong understanding of accounting functions and general ledger management.
• Knowledge of automated clearing house (ACH) processes and banking operations.
• Ability to handle data processing with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience in cash activity monitoring and capital management.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
