RELX INC Business Continuity & Change Management Analyst I in Manila, Philippines
Key Responsibilities:
Business Continuity Management
Assist in the development, updating, and maintaining of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) and execution of BC exercises utilizing CrisisGo.
Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical processes, dependencies, and risks.
Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for potential disruptions.
Organize BCP/DRP testing, tabletop exercises, and simulations to validate response effectiveness.
Support the team in managing incidents by issuing and coordinating communications and response efforts.
Oversee supplier resilience administration, including assisting in evaluating and monitoring suppliers’ resilience capabilities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 22301 and relevant BCM-related regulatory requirements.
Change Management (Sub-Function)
Support the Change Management process for IT infrastructure changes, ensuring minimal business disruption.
Assess the potential impact of infrastructure changes on business operations and continuity plans.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure proper planning, testing, and approval of infrastructure changes.
Monitor and enforce adherence to Change Management policies and best practices (ITIL framework, CAB approvals, rollback plans, etc.).
Maintain documentation of change requests, risk assessments, and implementation outcomes.
Collaboration & Reporting
Partner with IT, security, facilities, and operations teams to align BCM and Change Management strategies.
Prepare and present BCM and Change Management reports to senior leadership.
Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and compliance requirements related to business continuity and IT change management.
Bachelor's Degree.
2-3 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, and/or IT change management desired. (can consider less)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), MBCI (Member of the Business Continuity Institute), ITIL, or PMP are a plus desired.
Knowledge of BCM frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC) and Change Management methodologies (ITIL Change Management, CAB processes) desired.
Experience in risk assessments, business impact analyses, and IT change control processes desired.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree.
