Amazon Product Manager - Pricing, Amazon Fresh in Manchester, United Kingdom

Description

Amazon Fresh is seeking a talented, customer-obsessed, and highly analytical Product Manager to develop and manage Pricing and Promotions for Amazon Fresh's Online, In-Store and Deliveroo channels.

You will independently own parts of the Amazon Fresh Pricing vision, execution and continuous improvement. You will directly interact with central tech and non-tech pricing teams to create and iterate innovative Machine-learning Pricing solutions to improve our customer’s experience. You will conceive, build, launch, and grow solutions, continually evaluating opportunities to drive ongoing improvement and innovation activity. This position has regular exposure to leadership, a variety of tech teams and multiple business stakeholders and partner teams.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partnering with key stakeholders to refine and implement pricing strategy

  • Addressing the most important internal and customer-facing pain points through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders

  • Supporting Retail Teams to make informed pricing decisions through deep analytics that deliver our Pricing Vision

  • Contributing to regular business reviews, communicating performance based on your analysis to identify trends and root-causes

  • Collating pricing technical roadmaps by channel and partnering with central EU and US teams to prioritise the most important requirements

  • Developing user experience goals, stories and requirements that can be used to develop new products

  • Building market segment knowledge relating to value and Pricing and earning trust as an authority for pricing-related concerns

A day in the life

The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. They should enjoy in-depth review of complex systems to identify root causes of unintended consequences. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key.

This position requires a candidate with proven analytical skills with experience driving process improvement, thought leadership, and delivering results.

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced excel and SQL. Ability to dive in to data and metrics to quickly understand root cause and scalable solutions

  • Proven experience delivering results by partnering with other tech/non-tech teams

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, willingness to roll up your sleeves

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in business, economics, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pricing and promotion systems and tech teams

  • Experience of process improvement, systems development, tech roadmap and project management

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
