Parts Specialist UK&I Role Description

The purpose of the Parts Specialist UK&I is to support, to promote and sell Parts, maintain strong

relations with existing internal and external customers and be responsible for growing our customer base. The Parts Specialist reports to the UK&I Sales Director. This position would include some travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • To work in the CRM - Sales Force/FSL and business systems like Mapics, and Online Express.

  • Support customers in identifying parts and handle inquiries like special deals and discount requests (External and Internal).

  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of customer accounts.

  • Responsible for ordering parts (external and internal), providing quotes and invoicing for parts, following up payments for goods supplied.

  • Secure the daily flow of incoming and outgoing parts

  • Responsible to register, track and manage inventory balance and the inventory balance of parts in the service vehicles

  • Support customers in the introduction of Online Express

  • If needed, execute customer visits to strengthen parts sales and Customer Care

  • Proactively call potential new customers to solicit parts sales; generate and qualify leads; manage leads

  • Work to expand parts sales throughout designated territory of the UK&I

  • Meet and/or exceed sales, margin, and profitability targets for designated territory of the UK&I

  • Partake in training opportunities to develop skills to better understand JLG products, current technology and/or product available to the field; as well as personal growth.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. And a desire to want to learn Microsoft Power Bi

The Parts Specialist is an important part of the team to develop and execute positive work climate and efficient communication. The Parts Specialist will have the day-to-day responsibility for ensuring efficient logistics and parts handling. The overall purpose is to support customers with parts to enable them to maintain the highest possible utilization rate for their rental fleet.
