Stantec Assistant Civil Engineer - Infrastructure in Manchester, United Kingdom

Do you have a passion for infrastructure design?

We are currently seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer to join our new and rapidly growing Highways and Infrastructure team in the heart of Manchester - Manchester, United Kingdom

Our projects include a wide range of public and private sector schemes that include some significant development, infrastructure and regeneration projects from small scale local schemes to larger national frameworks.

You will play an important role within our team, supporting the production of highways, infrastructure &drainage designs for all types and scales of projects and assist in securing technical approval, S278/S38 and S104 agreements and construction support. You will work with senior colleagues in the effective delivery of outputs to agreed deadlines.

Your role will be varied and challenging, and you will have the opportunity to learn from the wider group and take your career to the next level. We will work with you to establish your training needs and provide a clear pathway to progression. ABOUT YOU

Ideally you will have a degree in Engineering and an interest in progressing towards Chartership. You will have some experience in highways, drainage, or civil infrastructure design projects and will be looking to expand your knowledge and experience. Skills with AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Microdrainage / Infodrainage are an advantage.

Some previous consultancy experience while working on civil infrastructure projects would be preferable. Your passion and experience of delivering quality infrastructure design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role.
