Veterinary Referral Center (VRC) is a comprehensive, referral specialty & emergency critical care veterinary hospital in Malvern, Pennsylvania. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for appointments, advanced imaging, surgery and emergency/critical care services. At our hospital, you'll be working alongside a large team of experienced & board-certified veterinarians with advanced specialized training who utilize the latest innovations in medicine and technology to treat companion animals. Our veterinary services include trauma treatment and critical care, medical oncology, radiation therapy oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, dentistry/oral surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, MRI and CT, endoscopy, rehabilitation, and emergency services.
Veterinary Referral Center located in Malvern, PA is searching for a veterinary technician for our Surgery Department.

We have very talented surgeons whose medical excellence is only superseded by their patient care. Mainly our patients are dogs and cats, but we have the opportunity to do surgery/anesthesia on all kinds of patients!
Our goal here at VRC is to assemble a surgery department team committed to providing exceptional client services to our clients and high-quality veterinary health care to our patients.
Anticipated Schedule:
Flexible schedule to fit YOUR life!
8-hour, 10-hour or 12-hour shifts available
Monday-Friday
Rotating on-call schedule -one on call shift per month is required - our nurses get to decide if they work in anesthesia or treatment on call!
Compensation:
Baseline pay is $18-34 per hour dependent on qualifications.
Credentialed Veterinary Technicians receive an additional $2/hr
Veterinary Technician Specialists receive an additional $4/hr
$350 on call fee for Anesthesia on call on top of hourly pay!
$300 on call fee for Treatment on call on top of hourly pay!

The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

About You:
We encourage experienced Veterinary Assistants to apply!
Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills is preferred (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)
Anesthesia/Surgery experience is required!
