Description
Prestigious, not-for-profit seeks an Accounting & Finance Manager with experience managing company investments. This Accounting & Finance Manager will analyze daily financial activities to plan and direct important financial strategies/functions of the organization. The ideal candidate must have managed payroll, have excellent communication and report writing skills, and have thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Create investment estimates for short and long-term objectives
Develop budgeting and forecasting plans
Ensure payroll is accurate and processed timely
Coordinate month end close
Prepare financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Provide financial analysis
Create process improvements
Review and update internal controls
Oversee auditing process
Requirements
Degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA preferred
5+ years experience; 2+ years actual supervisory experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel
Meticulous attention to detail
