The value you’ll bring to the team:
Facilitate dialogue with campus leaders to ensure local antimicrobial stewardship programs comply with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Conditions of Participation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Core Elements of Hospital Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs, and accrediting bodies.
Lead out on NHSN companywide compliance for reporting AU/AR. Escalate and troubleshoot NHSN failures with Bugsy/Infection Prevention and Willow. Communicate with sites regarding changes and fixes and ensuring all sites report AU/AR within a defined 6-month window per the rule
Designated pharmacy representative for several antimicrobial stewardship committees including, Water Management Committee; Infection Prevention Committee; Transformational care
Lead and Chair the Company-wide antimicrobial stewardship committee and the local Antimicrobial Stewardship Quality and Performance Committee (med staff)
Performs ongoing review of anti-infective financial performance, including identification and implementation of budget initiatives during the annual budget planning process.
Facilitate the development and implementation of infectious diseases related treatment guidelines, protocols, formulary and/or criteria for use changes, and critical pathways as approved by appropriate committees.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: •
Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
• Advanced Cardiac LIfe Support Cert
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION:

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
•Applicable State Pharmacy License
•Current BLS, ACLS, or PALS may be required as defined by specialty unit.
