Oracle Senior Security Analyst - Container Threat and Vulnerability Management in MADRID, Spain

Job Description

As part of Oracle NetSuite’s Security Team, the Senior Security Analyst will assist with day-to-day operations related to vulnerability and threat risk management for containerized environments: identification, remediation, mitigation, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT, Information Security, Cyber Risk Management

  • Strong understanding of vulnerability scanning tools and methodologies

  • Experience working with container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)

  • Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and summarize data into executive reports

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to remain flexible and maintain high-quality output in a fast-changing, demanding environment

  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements (PCI, ISO, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Experience with tools like Qualys, Splunk, Tanium, Illumio, JIRA, and Confluence

  • Recognized industry certification or continuing education programs

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Assist with the implementation and setup of container vulnerability scanning solutions

  • Integrate scanning solutions into existing workflows

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security best practices are followed

  • Analyze scan results to identify, prioritize, and report new vulnerabilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure remediation of identified vulnerabilities

  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on progress, blockers, dependencies, target dates

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to container vulnerability scanning processes

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of integrated scanning solutions

  • Suggest and implement new concepts or ideas for improvement
