In your new role you are a strategic partner for Siemens IT and other corporate units and guide them to implement security by design and by default in new and enhanced services. Both enables IT and cybersecurity to drive and support the Siemens strategy to drive digitalization and be ready for new business models. Focusing on market-leading IT platforms, the architect ensures that the digital security is an integral part of the entire business implementation, maintaining the business’s quality attributes such as confidentiality, integrity, availability and accountability for transactions processed before and after the launch of Zero Trust.

As Cybersecurity Platform Architect you will:
Design an innovative security architecture for the complete digitalization stack to integrate security relevant topics into the business architecture
Take important decisions regarding the fundamental technological directions of cybersecurity elements
Be an inspiring leader in the area of cybersecurity to communicate the architecture vision to the senior management and the entire organization
Lead, guide, coach and motivate researchers, architects, developers, operators and system engineers over the entire platform lifetime.
Monitor the cybersecurity market regarding emerging technologies, digital trends and upcoming cyber threats and take respective decisions
Spark ideas in and beyond CYS, work and collaborate seamlessly across hierarchy levels.
To effectively act in this role:
Master´s degree in computer science and/or Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
Long-term experience in Cybersecurity Architecture with a clear focus on cloud
For this position you need a deep technical foundation in Cloud in the areas of migration, technology, system operation
A certification as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is a plus
You possess cross platform know-how (technical foundation) and interfaces to other cybersecurity services
As a good international teammate your like to work across hierarchies and organizations and think innovatively. You like to present and speak in public about innovations and ideas
You have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving, growing, and multifaceted environment characterizes you
