Position Summary

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for protecting Jet Aviation’s assets and data from internal & external threats. Apply industry best practices, ensure compliance with regulations and requirements, and develop/implement security protocols.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead real-time monitoring, detection, and response to security threats, ensuring prompt and efficient action.

  • Engineer secure solutions tailored to support and advance the business's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with both security standards and business objectives.

  • Participate in incident response events, swiftly identifying, mitigating, and documenting security incidents to ensure timely resolution and lessons learned for future prevention.

  • Work cross-functionally with other security staff, IT, and other lines of business to design and implement secure digital solutions aligning with industry and company regulations.

  • Act as the key resource for implementing and securing cloud-based technologies, with a focus on Azure.

  • Maintain, evaluate, and enhance IT and cybersecurity tools.

  • Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security assessments.

  • Lead and assist in development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.

  • Participate in cybersecurity audits, effectively addressing and remediating identified findings.

  • Stay updated on recent threat intelligence, monitor emerging vulnerabilities, and understand modern attack techniques.

  • Actively engage with various departments to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and embed security best practices across all business operations.

  • Champion ongoing professional development and cybersecurity training to enhance skills and knowledge.

  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance team skills and promote a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Security/Assurance/Technology, or equivalent. experience in related cybersecurity functions. Cyber certifications are a plus.

  • 8+ years of experience in security engineering, operations, or architecture.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.

  • Experience in handling security incidents and conducting digital forensics.

  • Proven expertise in applying one or more key security frameworks, including SOC, CMMC, NIST, ISO.

  • Solid understanding of modern tactics, techniques and procedures.

  • Project management skills are preferred.

  • Good communication and documentation skills in English are required.
