JOIN THE TEAM
Within our team we ensure that changes are rolled out to the SAP core systems in a high quality by providing release, implementation, and test management from demand to deploy to our BASF internal stakeholders. We enable BASF internal business users to update their own SAP data in a "Hands Free IT" way by providing self-developed and maintained forms through our automated global work request web portal.
The Product Owner - Global Work Request Portal will provide vision and direction for the Global Work Request portal. This will require someone with a strong technical background and communication skills to translate business requirements into technical requirements. The Product Owner should be comfortable delivering trainings, as well as explaining the use case and benefits that the Global Work Request portal provides
RESPONSIBILITIES
You strategically develop our test automation framework further by considering state of the art technologies
You ensure operative stability from E2E focusing on tool, service, process, licenses, and costs
You analyze, research, identify solutions of software issues and solve them in cooperation BASF internally and our tool provider
You take up ongoing requests into your continues improvement process
You plan and conduct lifecycle measures (software setup, updates, patching & maintenance, backups)
You take care of user administration, RBAC Access and Active directory access
You improve our support concept including emergency handling
You ensure security & authorization checks are conducted
You document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree with a focus on business or information technology (IT) and several years of work experience in test automation tool administration management
Test automation tool experience in Worksoft Certify, Execution Manager, Analyzer and Capture knowledge preferred
Experience in Citrix VDI's set up, pool/update/issue and Microsoft SQL Server data base management
Operative knowledge in managing network and Microsoft Windows Server issues
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
Natural helper mentality, enjoy assisting people with software issues and ability to explain technical details simply
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide step-by-step technical help
Ability to think outside of the box, develop new concepts and drive them forward
Experience working in a global collaborative environment and promoting an agile teamwork mentality
Strong communication skills (written and oral) in English are mandatory
