ManpowerGroup Telecommunications Technician II in Madison, Wisconsin
One of our Fortune 500 clients (A major State Government client) is looking for Hardworking & motivated talents to join their awesome team This Telecommunications Technician II involves managing cellular services (orders, upgrades, suspensions) and supporting teleconferencing events. The position requires 2+ years of experience with smartphones, ticketing systems, and vendor collaboration. Strong attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills are essential. It’s a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days in-office per week.
Title: Telecommunications Technician
Location: Madison WI 53703 (Hybrid) 2D /Week-Onsite.
Duration: 9+ months (with highly possible extension)
Pay Range: $23.50 - $26.90/ hr.
Primary Responsibilities:
Handling cellular phone services (new orders, upgrades, suspensions, and cancellations) in collaboration with cellular vendors.
Utilizing a ticketing system to track work requests and ensure progress updates.
Maintaining inventory and updating various systems, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex procedures.
Supporting teleconferencing events, which includes setting up cameras and sound systems.
Interacting with other technicians, customers, and VIPs, which demands excellent customer service skills.
Top Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
Supporting smartphones.
Working with cellular vendors.
Following detailed procedures.
Using ticketing systems for tracking work.
Communicating professionally and tactfully with teammates and customers.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with:
Online vendor portals.
Working on technical teams.
Microsoft Office suite, including Teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
