This role will report to the VP of Alliance Partner & North America Field Marketing and work closely with sales leadership, product marketing, and demand generation teams to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with revenue objectives and sales priorities. A key aspect of this role will be to collaborate closely with alliance partners to drive joint go-to-market success.

This is a strategic execution role, ideal for a marketer with a strong understanding of relationship marketing (including digital ABM, content marketing, and sales playbooks) who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with sales teams and partners, and excels at translating marketing programs into real pipeline impact. This role will require frequent collaboration with regional sales teams.

What your impact will be…

Sales & Partner Alignment & Pipeline Acceleration

  • Partner with regional sales leaders to understand pipeline needs, identify gaps, and develop marketing initiatives that drive deal velocity and pipeline conversion.

  • Develop and execute targeted account engagement strategies, including ABM plays, executive programs, and sales enablement initiatives, for EDB specifically as well as in collaboration with alliance and channel partners.

  • Own and execute pipeline acceleration campaigns, such as customer workshops, roundtables, deal-closing incentives, and nurture programs to support late-stage opportunities, leveraging partner resources and networks where appropriate.

  • Work with sales development (BDR/SDR) teams to align messaging, campaign execution, and lead follow-up strategies.

  • Create and tailor compelling sales enablement materials in collaboration with product marketing, including presentations, case studies, and landing pages to equip sales teams with the resources they need to effectively engage prospects and customers.

  • Develop and execute co-marketing plans with alliance partners to drive joint demand generation and pipeline growth.

Field & Event Marketing

  • Plan and execute high-touch field events (executive roundtables, workshops, roadshows, regional meetups) that connect sales and alliance partners with prospects and customers.

  • Support EDB’s presence at key industry and partner events, ensuring maximum engagement and pipeline impact.

  • Travel to support regional sales teams and partners at key field events, customer meetings, and conferences (approximately 20% travel).

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between sales, product marketing, demand generation, and partner account executive (PAE) teams to ensure regional marketing efforts are aligned with company-wide campaigns and messaging.

  • Provide feedback to product marketing on customer pain points, messaging effectiveness, and competitive insights from the field and partner interactions.

  • Work with demand generation teams to tailor and execute campaigns that drive qualified leads for the sales team.

Performance & Optimization

  • Track, measure, and report on the impact of field marketing initiatives, focusing on pipeline contribution, deal acceleration, and ROI, including the contribution of partner activities.

  • Increase conversion rates through the sales funnel by monitoring metrics and implementing improvements.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, sales enablement, or partner marketing, preferably in enterprise software or cloud technologies.

  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Experience developing account-focused marketing programs that drive engagement and revenue.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, demand gen, and product marketing teams.

  • Hands-on experience with event planning, executive engagement, and sales enablement programs.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence sales leaders and key stakeholders.

What will give you an edge…

  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to keep cross functional teams informed and focused on the most important deliverables.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze marketing performance and adjust strategies for better results.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to support field events, key sales engagements, and industry conferences.
