Role: Salesforce Technical Architect/Lead

Job Level: Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: Full Time only - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst (BA) is primarily responsible for researching, analyzing, defining, designing, configuring, documenting, and testing detailed business requirements within Quote to Cash (Q2C) based implementations. This role provides implementation support for key business application goals.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Identifying and driving end-user requirements

• Facilitating communication within internal teams

• Working closely with clients to define application metrics, reports, dashboards, data mapping, and other integration requirements

Research and Analysis: Conducts research and data collection to understand clients or potential clients. Interviews employees, management teams, and other stakeholders to assess issues.

• Communication: Creates clear, concise, and complete functional specifications and required documents detailing system requirements.

• Documentation: Gathers, creates, and documents current and future business process flows for all assigned client projects.

Key Experience

Demonstrates success and experience in the following areas:

• Mid-Level BA: Proven experience within IT delivery projects and/or cloud-based implementations in a BA role.

• Senior-Level BA: Strong proven experience with IT delivery projects, significant experience with solution implementation/integration projects, Quote to Cash (Q2C) experience, and expertise in reviewing assigned business processes from.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven abilities in client-facing roles developing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong requirements-gathering abilities.

  • Customer-centric attitude—committed to the client and able to consult and negotiate when necessary.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Client Relationship Management: Builds and maintains key customer relationships; energized by delivering projects and value to clients.

  • Project Management: Establishes systematic courses of action for self or others to ensure successful project completion.

  • Time Management: Sets priorities, goals, and timetables to manage time efficiently and maximize productivity.

  • Decision-Making: Firm and decisive—willing to make difficult or unpopular decisions when necessary.

  • Cloud-Based Implementation Experience:

  • Experience working with multiple cloud software solutions

  • SaaS software

  • Q2C platforms including CPQ, CLM, CRM, Billing, or ERP enterprise implementations

  • e-Business, SaaS applications, or cloud-based transformations/integrations

Relevant Technologies

Experience with the following technologies is preferred (but not required):

  • CPQ & CLM Solutions: Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Apttus CPQ, Apttus CLM, Gotransverse TRACT, Spring CM CLM, Conga CLM

  • Billing & CRM Platforms: Xactly SPM solutions, Aria billing platform, Salesforce Communities, CloudCraze Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Zuora

  • ERP & SaaS Solutions: Oracle Big Machines, Calidus Cloud Solutions, Netsuite, Mulesoft, and other SaaS/Cloud Q2C-related solutions

Education

  • 4-year degree in a technical or business-related field preferred.

  • Understanding of the Quote to Cash (Q2C) process (CPQ, Order Management, Billing, and CRM) is a plus.

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 – $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
