JOB REQUIREMENTS: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Urgent Care - 30515 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Days and hours are to be determined based on coverage needed within our urgent care clinics. Various shifts between 8:00 am - 9:00 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am - 6:00 pm on weekends/holidays. Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you\'ll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant to: * Function as an independent health care provider working collaboratively with a variety of other providers, including family practitioners, internists, pediatricians, and other NP/PA\'s. * Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in an urgent care setting. * Provide medical care for acute or chronic illnesses or injuries. * Monitor lab and imaging results and provide follow-up inquires by telephone regarding test results. * Provide electronic medical care utilizing eVisit and Telehealth platforms. * Provide APP coverage within the department Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner*: * Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND * Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
