JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a neuro-oncologist interested in pursuing a BC/BE. The successful candidate would be involved in clinical and translational neuro-oncology research providing exceptional options for patients to participate in clinical trials, neural genomics, and precision medicine. Person would participate in clinical research conducted in the UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC). Responsibilities: This position involves clinical care, research and/or teaching. Duties include approximately 60% direct patient care at UW Health\'s main campus, including ambulatory, inpatient and consult service attending; proactively supporting efforts to improve diversity in clinical trial participants; 30-40% protected time to develop a research or education program and to engage in related scholarly activity. Teaching responsibilities include teaching medical students, residents and fellows, mentoring graduate students and trainees, and teaching continuing education programs for physicians and the public. The successful candidate will also participate in professional, public, and university service appropriate to the rank.
