This position will perform a variety of laboratory procedures in Downstream Process Development. The position will perform daily work assignments accurately and in a timely and safe manner. This position will independently evaluate, select, and apply standardized scientific and techniques to assignments of moderate complexity, involving potentially conflicting design requirements, unavailability of materials or processes, etc. This position also seeks a continual improvement of work practices from experience with moderate-sized projects; develops extensions to existing methods and protocols.
This is a full-time on-site hourly position, Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

The Role:
Maintain organization and 5S standards in the development area
Execute and document 5S audits of laboratory space and update areas as needed or requested
Execute general laboratory maintenance, dishwashing, autoclaving, and solution preparation
Clean biosafety cabinets and chemical fume hoods
Review production documents with a high degree of guidance
Order and stock consumables in general lab areas and satellite areas
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and File paperwork and work orders
Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in any non-stem discipline with no experience required OR
Associates Degree in Chemistry or closely related physical science discipline with no experience required OR
High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience
Ability to work effectively under accelerated timelines to meet multiple deadlines
Well organized with ability to handle and direct multiple activities simultaneously
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds is required
