SPHERION International Shipping Associate in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an International Shipping Associate available to start immediately for a leading optical equipment manufacturer with 30+ years in the industry! Shipping and receiving experience (international and domestic) and knowledge of shipping software are required. Highlights: - Temporary with the opportunity for permanent hire - Benefits offered - Pay Rate: \$19/hr - Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm - State-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility located on the east side of Madison, WI! Responsibilities: Shipping - Perform daily procedures to accurately and efficiently ship all available products - Review invoice/packing list, pull and pick required product, and ensure product and accessory items are correct (part numbers, lot numbers) and match the invoice/packing list - Pick Inventory in FIFO order - Utilize UPS/Fedex/DHL software for shipments - Ship and confirm shipments using Clipper Ship and Oracle software - File all end-of-day shipping documents - Provide information to carriers regarding shipments - Issue call tags as required - Complete international shipping documents Receiving - Receive all incoming packages - Visually inspect all incoming packages, rejecting those that are damaged or unacceptable - Document receipts into Excel, Oracle, or Dynamics ERP system - Inform QA of all products requiring inspection - Date and initial all packaging lists and invoices received - Coordinate with Procurement on purchase order discrepancies - Deliver packages and mail as required Other duties as assigned ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent degree - Shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic shipping software - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently - Well-organized and high attention to detail - Familiarity with FDA and GMPs preferred - Certification on \"Dangerous Good\" preferred ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://www.spherion.com/jobs/international-shipping-associatemadison43528511/ This position is listed by a private employment agency.
