Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as an advisor to Research and Development (R&D) on all aspects of product security, including threat modelling, risk management, and adherence to FDA cybersecurity guidelines and similar regulations. Lead cloud security architecture and risk assessing, ensuring robust risk assessment methodologies are applied to safeguard cloud-based environments. Drive the integration of effective security principles throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design through to post-market support, in close collaboration with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and IT. Initiate the use and maintenance of cybersecurity frameworks, processes, and standard operating procedures that align with global regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Execute post-market security surveillance efforts, ensuring continuous monitoring and rapid response to emerging threats. Assists with complex vulnerabilities. Assist in answering complex product and service security questions from service, sales, or customers. Participate in cross-function review processes and meetings. Participate in product reviews to ensure proper validation of security-related requirements Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 2700, NIST CSF, along with a deep understanding of global regulatory cybersecurity policies (e.g., FDA, EU MDR). QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 years\' experience in a cybersecurity practitioner role, with a focus on product security in the medical device or healthcare sector. Demonstrated expertise in cloud security architecture and risk assessment. Proven track record of advising on and implementing cybersecurity measures in a product development context.
