Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

  • Set up and operate different CNC mills and lathes

  • Perform G&M code editing at the machine

  • Conduct first and last piece quality inspections

  • Work from blueprints

  • Use micrometers and calipers for measurements

  • If on the Vertical Mill: work with Okuma and Fanuc controls, perform 5 setups per day, edit programming at the machine, and handle parts ranging from 4 to 26 inches in size and ½ to 2.5 inches in thickness

  • If on the CNC Lathe: work with DMG, handle shaft work, and perform setups and tooling changes using Siemens controls

Essential Skills

  • 2 years of CNC setup experience and running mills and lathes

  • Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Experience with manual tooling

Work Environment

Monday through Thursday, with overtime available after the shift. The facility is large and equipped with various CNC machines including a vertical mill, horizontal mill, hybrid manual lathe, and other milling and drilling machines. The dress code and specific attire requirements will be provided upon hiring.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

$2 shift premium for 2nd
