U W-MADISON DIV. CONTINUING STUDIES Clinical Research Project Coordinator in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Syndemics Research Group (SynRG) at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Coordinator to support ongoing research. SynRG is a collaboration between the Division of Infectious Diseases at UW-Madison, the Communicable Disease Harm Reduction Section in the Wisconsin Division of Public Health, and Vivent Health, a non-profit community based organization serving people living with and at risk for HIV. The group\'s mission is to improve the health and well-being of people affected by drug use, incarceration, poverty, stigmatization and other social and structural determinants of health through applied, community engaged research. Additional information about our research group\'s past and present work can be found on our program website here: The program conducts multiple NIH-funded projects that are part of national collaborative research networks, including the NIH HEAL Initiative, NIDA Rural Opioid Initiative () and the Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (). The successful candidate will help lead and coordinate the work of NIH funded projects, working closely with Program PI Dr. Ryan Westergaard, research program colleagues, and a team of diverse faculty across UW and other institutions who have expertise in domains including statistics, engineering, public health, nursing, and epidemiology. The Clinical Research Project Coordinator will provide overall management and coordination of the research activities and data collection of a primary research project, with additional support of other currently funded projects. The research program is currently implementing 3 NIH funded projects focusing on HIV care, addiction and overdose, incarcerated individuals, and harm reduction initiatives.
