JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20500 Title: Business Process Specialist (Business Services Service Delivery) POSITION SUMMARY The Business Process Specialist provides support for the Human Resources System (HRS), Shared Financial System (SFS) or other related systems and business processes at the Universities of Wisconsin Shared Services Center. We are currently recruiting to fill multiple positions which will support the following area: Business Services-Service Delivery: This functional team focuses on tasks related to travel expense report auditing, shared supplier / vendor profiles and vehicle use authorizations. Tasks include, but are not limited to, providing a high level of customer service to successfully assist employees and supervisors with the travel expense report workflow, perform required due diligence for vendor profile changes as needed and other support of business services as assigned. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Technology process support of the Shared Financial System (SFS), the Human Resource System (HRS) and related operations, focused on Payroll, Business Services, Benefits or Human Resources. - Manage multiple processing activities including entering exception transactions, performing auditing and validations, and troubleshooting customer issues. - Analyze and perform complex entries and corrections within SFS, HRS and related systems. - Research and interpret UW Policies, regulations, statutes and develop procedures for application within the system and related business processes. Assist with the implementation of these changes. - Recommend and promote changes in the system and related business processes as needed to stay current and enhance operations. Work cross-functionally with other team members as needed. - Participate in development of testing, training, and reporting requirements. - Create, organize, review and update training materials and business process documentation. - Understand processes related to the position\'s specified area of expertise. - Manage records associated with tasks and adhere to appropriate records retention policies. WORK LOCATION The office is located at 660 W Washington Avenue in Madison, WI. An in-office requirement is expected two days per week. The remaining three days per week may be worked off-site/remote.
