If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for an Mechanical Maintenance Technician. The selected candidate will work within the eVinci program. The candidate will train primarily at the Waltz Mill site and then work in Etna. Your Day-to-Day: Plan, layout and execute complex work assignments. Install, repair, rebuild, dismantle, maintain and move machinery and material-handling equipment throughout the plant site Receive work assignments, written or verbal, and work from sketches, prints, drawings or other instructions/information received from supervisor. Disconnect and reconnect existing electrical services up to and including 120V, single phase A.C. in conjunction with job function. Disconnect and reconnect existing tubing, piping, hoses, gages, valves, etc., in all types of pipe and hose in conjunction with job function. Perform incidental machining on parts to complete machine repair. Check proper function of machinery or equipment after maintenance or repair work. Diagnose machine function to avoid major breakdowns. Perform predictive/preventive maintenance activity. Move related material, equipment and supplies required to perform job function. Maintain inventories/records, manually or electronically, such as labor, distribution, spare-parts inventory, materials, and report shortages or problems, etc. Lubricate equipment as necessary. Maintain fluid levels. Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and in orderly condition. Remove all excess material and scrap related to job function. Conform to all safety requirements. Must use lock-and-tag system when appropriate. Repair, fabricate, and install simple brackets/guards, hangers, and supports as needed. Repair pumps such as, but not limited to, mechanical vacuum pumps, gear pumps, Viking pumps, hydraulic pumps, etc. Support vibration analysis function by performing data collection activities. Overhead Crane inspections and repairs Typical Tools and Equipment used: All types of tools and equipment to perform job function to include fork-lifts (hand or rider), hand trucks, dollies, cranes, rigging, measuring devices, various tools (hand, power, precision, machine, etc.), shearing and bending equipment, testers, meters, propane gas torches, man-lifts, transit, laser alignment equipment, personal computer, data collection devices for predictive/preventive maintenance (i.e., accelerometer, strobe, infrared, etc.) ultrasound, acoustics, machine balance, etc.

Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Journeyman Millwright / Mechanical Craft Certification Five (5) years Mechanical Repair Craft experience, three (3) of which must be in an industrial maintenance environment. Diploma or applicable education from a trade or technical school in industrial maintenance may qualify for part of experience requirement. Experience operating overhead cranes and forktrucks Knowledge of Microsoft office programs and ability to use digital technology for data entry
