WHAT YOU'LL BRING
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work independently to teach the Agile mindset, Manifesto, principles, and core processes to teams new to Agile.
- Independently assess what Agile methodology best suits teams new to Agile, then establish Agile events, processes, and tooling according to this assessment.
- Ensure proper coordination and collaboration with other teams.
- Use health checks, coaching experience, stakeholder input, team member input, and other sources to assist teams in deepening their Agile journeys.
- Help individuals and teams set up and troubleshoot Jira projects and Confluence spaces.
- Contribute to the ACoE's strategy for TNC IT's Agile journey and align your work with it.
- Ensure Agile coaching and guidance mesh with team, business, and organizational contexts.
- Assist with furthering the ACoE's development; contribute to plans and communicate with broader IT audiences.
- Help stakeholders define objective priorities that align with desired TNC mission outcomes.
- Identify risks and opportunities and facilitate issue resolution.
- Establish processes to track cross-system interdependencies and their impacts on release scope and schedules.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field and/or combined equivalent of education and experience (examples may include 2-year degree in a related field and 2 years of professional experience in IT, 4+ years of professional experience in IT, and other possible equivalents)
- At least one foundational Agile certification (e.g., CSM, IC Agile ICP, Team Kanban Practitioner, etc.).
- 2 years of team-level Agile Coaching experience, with both Scrum and Kanban teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences, including business partners, executives, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate inclusively and effectively in diverse teams.
- Able to hold courageous conversations with leaders, stakeholders, and team members.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent customer, client, or stakeholder service skills.
- 6 months or more as a Jira and Confluence user[.]{.underline}
- Experience modifying core Jira project and Confluence space settings (e.g., configuring board columns, updating filters, changing project and space permissions)
- Experience with software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Able to use quantitative data to guide assessment and improvement opportunities.
- Experience with project management techniques and tools.
Functional knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps principles and practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced Agile certifications (e.g., A-CSM, IC Agile ATF, Kanban Systems Design).
- 5 years of team-level Agile Coaching experience, with both Scrum and Kanban teams.
- Multi-team or program-level coaching experience.
- Administer and use advanced capabilities in the Atlassian suite of products (e.g., Jira and Confluence user permissions administration, JQL, automations, Jira Service Manager).
- Comfortable navigating challenging conversations and giving up, down, and lateral feedback that moves groups in a positive, constructive direction.
- Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience.
- Exceptional customer, stakeholder, or client service skills.
- Fluency with establishing quantitative metrics and gathering data to create assessments and demonstrate improvement opportunities.
- Critical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving sk lls.
- Hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps experience.
