WORK LOCATION: 31100 Stephenson Hwy., Madison Heights, MI 48071
JOB DUTIES: Audit and analyze financial records of individual clients and business clients (i.e. retail, hospitality, construction, etc.) to provide information about the clients' financial position and to ensure compliance with accepted accounting procedures and relevant laws. Prepare and maintain financial records including audit reports, income statements, and balance sheets. Assist with critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and analyzing company financials. Responsible for bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements. Conduct financial audits, ensuring financial records are accurate, and prepare financial reports.
REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Accounting or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year in a related occupation including Financial Consultant or related experience. 40hrs/week.
