Job Description:

APPOINTMENT: July 1, 2024

RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide athletic training/sports medicine services to NCAA student-athletes including injury and illness prevention and wellness promotion, examination, assessment and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, therapeutic intervention, healthcare administration and professional responsibility. Provide services for practices and competitions, travel with sport teams and document services provided.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Athletic Training
  • Eligible for State of Illinois athletic training licensure.
  • Board Certified (BOC) Athletic Trainer.
  • BLS CPR/AED Certification or eligible.
  • Valid driver\'s license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in athletic training or related field
  • Certified Athletic Trainer experience as a Graduate Assistant, Intern, or Full Time employee.

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwise stated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
