About the role

  • Our Industrial team, composed of 11 people in total (Silica & Spechem GBUs), is integrated in the Operations department and focuses on improving plant performance.

  • As a Silica Process Manager, you will work on production optimization, process efficiency, projects aimed at supporting the competitiveness of plants and responding to the major challenges of Sustainable Development and Circularity. You will have the opportunity to contribute to these key and strategic projects and have a positive impact on digitalization.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Permanently monitoring and challenging the performance of production units and identifying opportunities to improve competitiveness.

  • Carrying out studies concerning the optimization of production costs, the use of production capacities, the flow of information and materials and Sustainable Development.

  • Leading industrialization of innovation grades/Industrial trials in connection with R&I and the Technology development manager.

  • Supporting studies and implementation of projects.

  • Automating and digitizing processes as much as possible to increase efficiency in connection with the GBU Digital Champion.

  • We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in Process engineering.

  • Relevant work experience in industrial environment in several operational process positions

  • Competencies:

  • Knowledge of chemical process engineering

  • Ability to perform gap analyses and develop relevant action plans to achieve the expected targets, utilizing tools such as benchmarking, metrics.

  • Knowledge of Responsible Care and HSE Regulations and Quality norms (ISO, GMP, automotive …) and knowledge of Safety Process tools and techniques.

  • Ability to use MES, ASPEN, scientific IT tools and databases.

About the pay and benefits

  • Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country base pay reasonably expected for this role is 73,000.00 euros to 91,000.00 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
