    Position Overview: The Phoenix Food Hub Project Assistant will support the team's efforts to maintain the Food Resource Directory, provide assistance during cooking classes and education sessions, deliver emergency meals to consumers, work on outreach projects, support sub-projects associated with HRSN integration program, and provide consumer coordination supports for new referrals.

    Position Responsibilities: This position will research food resources in the Greater Lynn areas and the NLRP communities and updating the Food Resources Directory. They will create and distribute flyers and information about Phoenix Food Hub programs at various outreach events. Support cooking and nutrition classes as needed and support Senior Phoenix Food Hub Coordinator in managing referrals, coordinating services and consumer support

    Qualifications:

  • High school graduate required and currently in pursuit of higher level education

  • Ability to work well in team environment

  • Must have reliable transportation and able to occasionally deliver meals to consumers

  • Required to be on-site for classes and outreach

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information and documents with discretion and according to GLSS policies and HIPAA guidelines

  • Adheres to Agency confidentiality standards

  • Ability to process information accurately and to make appropriate decisions based on the specific situation and circumstances

    Hours Part Time hours 16-20 hours a week
