Eastern Bank Division Finance Officer- Consumer in Lynn, Massachusetts

Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Support Consumer budget development and monitoring to ensure adherence to financial targets

  • Participate in development of annual strategic plan

  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to Consumer management identifying trends and variances thereby improving insight for management

  • Partner with Accounting on monthly internal financial review and close providing insight to division growth, revenue and expense

  • Understand deposit pricing impacts and flows, mortgage and HELOC pipelines

  • Provide insight on monthly rate and volume flows

  • Partner with the FP&A Costing team to understand and identify branch statistics for profitability reporting

  • Conduct regular financial forecasting and modeling

  • Ensure accurate, timely and consistent management reporting

  • Work with business line leaders on pricing, modeling new products & services

  • Support and help drive profitable growth

Skills and Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in financial management, budgeting and analysis

Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of banking industry practices

Skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Knowledgeable in financial software and systems including Axiom, Microsoft Office, Oracle, Power BI, Salesforce

Certifications

  • CPA or other relevant financial certifications are beneficial
