Job Title: 1st & 2nd Shift Assembly Technician $24/hr
Job Description
This entry-level position involves using assembly instructions and tools to assemble components and subassemblies, ensuring correct fit and specifications. The role offers opportunities for wage increases and a sign-on bonus, along with various benefits.
Responsibilities
Use assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notify the supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Contribute to the team by accomplishing results as needed.
Cross-train in all areas of assembly and assist in other departments as needed.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with production and assembly processes
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to stand constantly
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment
Very clean facility with a first shift schedule from 3am to 1pm, Monday through Thursday. Friday shifts include a premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
