We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Team Leader who will be responsible for ensuring product quality and owning quality related processes. This is a Quality Engineering role but will also lead a small team of Quality Technicians, so there are also some supervisory responsibilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and testing of materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance: First-Pass Yield (FPY), Defect Per Unit (DPU), Complaints and other necessary Quality metrics to ensure high product quality and process improvement opportunities are identified.

  • Working closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Development, Technical Support, and Suppliers to develop and implement manufacturing processes and quality controls.

  • Identifying improvement opportunities and driving problem solving activities using quality engineering tools.

  • Supervising a team of direct reports, inclusive of (not limited to) providing daily guidance and performance feedback.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, technology, or science from an accredited college or university

  • Five years or more experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a similar role, within a manufacturing environment

  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Performing and/or hosting quality or process audits

  • Quality Engineering tools such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, Statistical Process Control, 5 why’s, 8D, PFMEA, Design of Experiment, etc.

  • 1+ year managing people

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
